Chitwan National Park Tour


Chitwan National Park is the first national park of Nepal established in year 1973 and was declared world heritage site in 1984. Located south-central Nepal in the subtropical inner Terai lowlands within area of 932 square km is home to some of the endangered animals and bird species. One can spot The "King of the Jungle" is the Bengal Tiger, Golden jackals, to name a few. One-horned Rhinoceros. Bird watching is another tourist activity. Nearly 543 species of birds inhabit the park. A choice of hotels, lodges and restaurants are available in and outside the park for tourists. The full board jungle package includes nature walk, jeep safari, canoeing, bird watching and cultural show.


Getting there: by surface or flight from Kathmandu and by raft down through Trishuli River
